Convocation 2023

SLS students, staff, and faculty came together for the start of the new academic year at Convocation, which included words of inspiration from keynote Daniel Lubetzky, JD '93, the founder of KIND Snacks and PeaceWorks.

Google Antitrust Case

SLS Visiting Fellow Douglas Melamed discusses the DOJ’s case against Google. Melamed previously was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Intel Corporation.

New "S" Term

SLS launched a new learning opportunity for students with a pilot program of small classes taught by guest lecturers. The program was  offered before the beginning of the regular school year.

Data Science for Clean Water

A Stanford geophysicist and lawyer team up to use big data for water quality monitoring and governance.

Constitution Day

This year's SLS Constitution Day featured a presentation by Rabbi Meir Soloveichik, the director of the Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought at Yeshiva University and the rabbi of New York City’s Congregation Shearith Israel, the oldest Jewish congregation in the United States.

Celebrating Over 50 Years at SLS: William B. Gould IV

Join us in celebrating Professor William B. Gould IV and the impact he has had on the SLS community and beyond since joining the SLS faculty as the first African-American professor over 50 years ago.

Following the program, SLS will be hosting the reunion welcome reception and you are welcome to continue the celebration with food and drinks.

This event is open to all, please email alumni.relations@law.stanford.edu to receive an invitation. Please RSVP by October 11, 2023.
