Gould on Great-Grandfather's Story

New DEI Associate Dean

Tirien Angela Steinbach will join SLS in July as the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), a new position created as part of the Dean’s DEI Initiative launched in 2020.  

Mello on Open Science Effort

SLS Celebrates Graduates of 2021

209 graduating SLS students celebrated their accomplishments and each other at Stanford University’s commencement and at the law school’s virtual diploma ceremony this past weekend.

Ishan Kumar, JD '21 (PhD '24), discusses a study he co-led, published in the peer-reviewed journal Nature Biotechnology, that offers unique analysis of 2.4 million U.S. patents, which cite published research as evidence of novelty.
