Chauvin Verdict

Professor Robert Weisberg discusses the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd and the unanimous verdict reached this week.

New Faculty

American Indian tribal law and constitutional law scholar Elizabeth A. Reese will join the Stanford Law faculty on June 1 as an assistant professor of law. Reese is the first Native American to become a member of the Stanford Law School faculty.

CRISPR People

Professor Hank Greely discusses his recently published book, CRISPR People, and the science, legal, and ethical considerations behind gene editing and the future of human germline genome editing.

Guggenheim Honor

Amalia D. Kessler has been awarded a 2021 Guggenheim Fellowship.
